Edwin van Wijk demonstrates how to build containerized microservices using .NET Core and Docker, featuring the Pitstop sample application.
Подробнее о конференции DotNext: jrg.su/3WmFRE — — Человек, который знает всё про DevOps и Docker в .NET. Лид в Microsoft Competence Center. .NET Core is the “new” way of building .NET applications and it is very cloud- and container friendly. In this session, we’ll show you how you can use these technologies to build containerized microservices based applications. The sessions contains 20% of slides and 80% of code. Why it's here

Microservice granularity
I have watched the link to this video and repo of "Pitstop" by Edwin van Wijk and I think both are excellent. They make a few really good points around the benefits of microservices, amongst others it does a great job explaining the benefits with loose coupling for availability.
My question is whether it's a realistic scenario to have microservices that cover more or less only single domain objects with very simple CRUD-like operations? What effects does it give on overall system complexity with a large amount of more or less CRUD-only services?

On “What is the best book/resource on micro services architecture with C# and .NET?”
This repo along with the video that goes with it is amazing. https://github.com/EdwinVW/pitstop link to this video
And this book obviously: https://github.com/dotnet-architecture/eShopOnContainers
(Fair warning, this is a highly advanced subject with a lot of things you need to learn...API Gateways, CQRS, DDD, Event Messaging, Eventual Consistency, Kubernetes, Separate databases per service) I'm in the thick of it right now and feel like I'm close to drowning.
