On “We’ve got a science opportunity overload: Launching the Wolfram Institute”

Lots of comments about his "arrogance" but i just see someone passionate, judge for yourself! He has three long interviews on Lex Fridmans youtube channel! I greatly enjoyed watching those those. 1:Stephen Wolfram: Cellular Automata, Computation, and Physics( link ) 2:Stephen Wolfram: Fundamental Theory of Physics, Life, and the Universe( link to this video ) 3: Stephen Wolfram: Complexity and the Fabric of Reality( link )

On “The Concept of the Ruliad”

Wolfram is always fascinating on Lex even if he goes on a bit too long (it’s Wolfram after all). He talks ruliads in his second appearance: link to this video

On “Richard Feynman’s Advice to a Young Stephen Wolfram (1985)”

There are two great 3+ hour interviews with Stephen on lex fridmans channel, interview two: link to this video He explains the whole thing and as a layman my mind was blown. I don't fully understand high level physics but as a software engineer I like his computational approach. If I had to summarize it I would say that his theory is that the fabric of reality is implemented as a sort of extreme conways game of life. We just have to discover the right rules and starting parameters and mystery solved, Fascinating!

On “Physicists identify the engine powering black hole energy beams”

Although I'm skeptical of the correctness of Wolfram's grand new theory/hypothesis of everything, there are many intuitively appealing aspects of it, and I wouldn't be surprised if some aspects of the theory may help find or understand future discoveries. (Though maybe not; I'm definitely not an expert.) Here's a detailed explanation of the hypothesis in a Lex Fridman podcast episode: link to this video
