An overview of the game development ecosystem in Zig, exploring libraries like raylib, SDL, Sokol, and Mach engine.

Thanks for watching! Learning zig has been really fun. It's a breath of fresh air in a world of abstraction. That being said, I want to emphasize that this is a heavily opinionated piece made from my initial reaction using the language. I have found that for my personal goals, using zig is a bit smoother for prototyping than something like C or C++ due to modern memory safety features and errors semantics.
