> Personally - I despise crypto because it makes it impossible to buy a decent GPU for a decent price these days There was an LTT video recently that talks about the GPU/microprocessor shortages. While crypto miners certainly are not helping the situation any, the shortages are more likely the fault of increased demand from people working from home far exceeding normal market capacity, mixed with the initial forecast of reduced demand in 2020 due to the pandemic. Demand far exceeds supply, prices shoot up That assumes LTT is reporting the situation accurately of course, but the arguments he makes seem to make sense
