>ELI5 An application usually contains sensitive information, such as API keys, server certificates, and other data. These secrets are typically stored in config files or .env files. However, committing these files to a version control system like Git is not recommended, as it can compromise the security of the secrets. To share these secrets with a development team, they are often sent through unsecured channels like email or messaging apps. To address this issue, the tool I am building helps teams securely store and share secrets by using end-to-end encryption, ensuring that even the database owners cannot access the data I made a demo, hopefully this helps link to this video
