An introduction to installing and setting up October CMS on a local machine.

In this video series we are going to take a look at October CMS and make a website with it. In this first episode I''m going to show you how to install October on your machine. October CMS is relatively new on the CMS scene, it's first stable version was released very recently. But it has been in development for at least two years now. Although it's new, it already has nice community around it, and it has gotten pretty good reviews on the CMS scene. It is based on Laravel framework, so there is one more reason to get into it. In this series we are gonna go step by step in creating a functional website using October CMS. We are going to learn about themes, plugins, components and all other good stuff that October CMS comes with. In this episode we are going to install October CMS on our local machine. watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-with-october…

Try october cms, it is laravel based cms that is ultra fast, unlike wordoress. The best part is that it is so easy to use nodejs in it, unlike wordpress. It uses twig templating engine which makes it easy to integrate any dynamic content. Here is a great tutorial link to this video
