What people say. Recommended as an excellent high-level overview for developers feeling lost with authentication and authorization in ASP.NET.

On “Tips to Understand Authentication and Authorization in ASP.NET - Feeling Lost”

Hi! I felt the same way for a long time until I started creating projects. What I recommend is that you go over this excellent video by the great Tim Corey, which will provide a great overview of the subject. [video Then create a small project using each of the solutions in the video. You could for example start with Microsoft Identity, which can be set up in minutes with their scaffolding and provides everything you need for most applications. Then crate apps with more modern concepts/approaches: OAuth, Auth0 and OpenID. I can't stress enough that you'll only actually learn when you put projects together. Good luck! 😊
