An animated explanation of how diodes and Bipolar Junction Transistors work using doping and silicon structure.

The invention of transistors revolutionized human civilization like no other technology. This video demonstrates working of a Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT) with it's practical applications such as transistor as an amplifier and as a switch with help of animation. Along with transistor working of diode is also explained in the video. The video covers following topics - structure of Silicon atom, doping, N type doping, P type doping, working of Diode, working of NPN transistor and dual stage amplification. • Learn more about JAES: jaescompany.com/index.php?lang=en • Learn more about our projects: jaescompany.com/elearning.php?lang=en • Here are some products installed by Jaes: jaescompany.com/catalogo_marche.php?lang=en

[video this series is as close as your going to get. He represents most of the bit flips with LEDs. You can look at his logic gate videos too. A CPU is just a bunch of logic gates tied together and logic gates are just a few transistors. There's nothing to look at inside the individual transistors, just physics/chemistry at work. Here is more on the inside of a transistor. [video

On “TRANSISTORS II”

link to this video this video helped me understand how they worked really well and this will be true for BJTs at least.
