Mitchell Szczepanczyk demonstrates how to solve wordplay puzzles from NPR's Sunday Puzzle using Clojure.
Every Sunday morning, National Public Radio has a Sunday Puzzle (npr.org/puzzle) -- a weekly puzzle challenge for listeners. Most NPR puzzles involve words and wordplay, and many of them lend themselves to being solved by computer and suffice as interesting and fun computer programming exercises. In this presentation, longtime Clojure developer and past Chicago Cloure Meetup presenter Mitchell Szczepanczyk will present some of these past puzzles and their solutions coded with Clojure. If you like puzzles, words and wordplay, and coding with Clojure, you'll enjoy this presentation. This presentation was given as part of the Chicago Clojure Meetup, held at the downtown Chicago offices of Guaranteed Rate, on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
