GreatScott! explains how to drive MOSFETs with a microcontroller, why gate capacitance requires a driver, and how bootstrapping works.

That means I will show you different examples on how to turn on/off a MOSFET with a microcontroller. We will investigate why and how much gate current is flowing and how the gate capacitance pretty much forces us to use a MOSFET driver at some point. Along the way you will also learn about what bootstrapping is and when to use it and you will hear a tiny bit about a gate-drive transformer. Let's get started! What people say. Recommended as a resource for understanding proper driver circuitry to ensure clean turn-on and turn-off signaling for MOSFETs.

…hing sensitive in that small instant. So you typically need dedicated circuits to be a bridge between any inductive load and a microcontroller. A H bridge, with resilient MOSFETs, snubber networks to damp the inductive spikes, and proper driver circuitry to ensure clean turn on and off signalling are the most common thing.
