A demonstration of real-time interactive AI painting in Krita using a Stable Diffusion plugin with Latent Consistency Models.

You can now see any changes on your canvas take immediate effect! Live updates are integrated in Krita Stable Diffusion plugin. All control layers supported. LCM sampler gives a significant speed boost, but for the interactive feeling a (very) high end GPU is still required. Krita plugin: github.com/Acly/krita-ai-diffusion Performance: ~0.6s per image for 512x640 on RTX 4070 (video runs at 2x~4x speed)

What people say. Recommended as a great demonstration of real-time local AI image generation integrated directly into an open-source painting application.

It's a little bit more work to set up, but I'd recommend Krita with diffusion if you want to get into this. Runs locally, swap exact checkpoints you want to use, supports poseable controlnets, and it doesn't phone home to mommy Microsoft. link Video demonstration link to this video

> Should we applaud for more kitsch in the world? Of course. It gets nauseating fast and makes worthwhile messages stand out more, causing the balance swinging to the other side. You're creating something for someone, what's the point if they don't value your carefully crafted message and want kitsch instead? > Are we expected to be impressed by speed or quality? Realtime generation in particular makes 3D rendering in the viewport and live painting possible. 1 This kind of tooling makes a lot of difference. What you make with it, either kitsch or something worthwhile, is up to you. 1 link to this video

Yes exactly. There are some written guides now but I actually just learned from the original demonstration videos. Copied what happened there and started tinkering around Most of the times if something didn't work for me that was mostly because my lack of knowledge about Krita link link link to this video
