Jon Gjengset performs a deep dive into the design, traits, and data model of Rust's serde serialization library.
In this stream, we peel back the crust on the serde crate — github.com/serde-rs/serde/ — and explore its interface, structure, and mechanisms. We talk about Serialize/Deserialize, Serializer/Deserializer, and the Visitor trait. We also get into the serde data model, and in particular the separation between data types, serde data values, and data formats. For more details about serde, see serde.rs/. I use `cargo expand` extensively in this video, which you can find here: github.com/dtolnay/cargo-expand The streaming calendar is at calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0?cid=NzE5YjZjZjA4YTlmMTFkYTR…, with some other formats listed in twitter.com/jonhoo/status/1602067723986513920. Jon's "Decrusting Rust" videos are really nice for this. Check this one out.

On “How do I pronounce serde?”
yes heard a lot of variants too 슬데, 설데, 샐드 or even 설디, I did my postgrad in the usa west coast so it also depends on where you learnt it, even on youtube in talks you can hear very different pronounciations
Check that video from jon gjenset he talks about pronounciation here: [video
