Learn how to apply Robert C. Martin's Clean Architecture principles to a Node.js microservice using Express and MongoDB.

In this video we talk about Bob Martin's Clean Architecture model and I will show you how we can apply it to a Microservice built in node.js with MongoDB and Express JS. What people say. Highly recommended by engineers as a clear, practical example of implementing clean or hexagonal architecture in a Node.js API.

Is clean architecture worth it or is it over engineering in web development?

Examples for hexagonal architecture/domain driven design for a web API I found this video and it runs through the architecture pretty well and I understand what is going on: [video Does anyone have any more examples? I would like to see some which involve authentication because I am not sure about how to do that. Another thing, should I use classes or just functions that return functions for dependency injection? Is there really a "right way" to do it or is it up to preference?

Unsure how to approach my Node API's architecture for a single page application Hey everyone. I've written some very basic CRUD SPAs in the past, but it's been a while since I've gotten back in the Node.js land. I committed myself to making something "full-stack" using React, Node, and MySQL for the database. It will still definitely be a CRUD application, but I also want to dive into using some cloud services like Azure for content moderation (just for experience working with another service), as well as implement OAuth OpenID Connect for user authentication. This is stuff I've never tried in my prior CRUD apps. I want to approach this project more seriously than I used to when I was an…
