On “A Year of Functional Programming. (reflections from an OO-er's perspective)”

There's a series of 10-minute lectures on OCaml that starts with the basics and goes pretty far: link to this video I would give at least the first video a watch and see if OCaml feels like a language you would like. Note that a lot of people love its speed, pragmatism, native binaries, etc. so it's often a strong competitor to Haskell.

On “What should I learn?”

Dr. Noureddin Sadawi offers a great video series on getting started with Ocaml. There's also a good book on getting started with Ocaml called *Ocaml from the Very Beginning*. There's also another book, Real World Ocaml, but it's mostly written for people who work at Jane Street Capital. Best of luck.
