Also, is it possible to have eMacs display the custom variable names (like smileys, and latex symbols) available in Julia?
I’m currently using this tutorial but even that is quite inconsistent : link to this video (the first step at 3.49 throws a warning on my pc, stating unnecessary call to package initialize at unit. Also at 3.35, how did he clear off the entire text quickly?)

Help M-x "x is undefined"
Just installed emacs.
Managed to figure out how to install emmet-mode from Marmalade.
That took half a day, expedited with a Youtube video:

Silly me, I typed in M-x and got the above.
So there's likely more to typing in M-x, than typing M-x.
Why am I typing it?
"Enable it by running M-x emmet-mode."
So far, I'm not saving much time or effort, and, RTFM, isn't helping.
I'm using Linux.
