Quinn Nelson shows how to build a budget-friendly Hackintosh using an Intel NUC.

The $800 Apple Mac mini is a bit underwhelming, but this hackintosh isn't! The CPU had poor thermal paste application, experienced thermal throttling, and was pretty bad value with just 128GB of storage. For less than $500, we built a hackintosh using an 8th gen Intel NUC. It's smaller, faster, cooler, and cheaper than the Mac mini and it runs macOS Mojave like a champ. What more could you ask for? On “What do you think is the best way to learn swift?”

You can't make iOS apps without Xcode, which only runs on macOS. You need something running macOS, so maybe make more money by freelancing or consulting, or looking up how to set up a hackintosh. The dude from Snazzy Labs made a hackintosh for $450: link to this video You could get a MacBook (Pro) from a few years ago on eBay. It'll be slower, but still capable and cheaper, and more legit.
