Platima Tinkers demonstrates how to set up the Raspberry Pi Global Shutter Camera and write Python scripts for capturing media.

So I saw this was released, and I just had to get one. It should be great for AI applications / Machine Learning, but I want it for high FPS if possible, and getting videos of lightning strikes. In this I do a little unboxing, assemble the product, set up the Pi, and then put together three code examples in Python; - Capturing JPEG stills - Streaming MJPEG over HTTP - Capturing H264 video (in MP4 container) (I had written another fuller description, but it appears Youtube reverted it for some reason -_- Also sorry my coding is pretty average, I'm still fairly new to Python) Github Code: github.com/platima/RPi-Global-Shutter-Camera-Code Product Page: raspberrypi.com/products/raspberry-pi-global-shutter-camera/ References/Datasheets: - SmarterEveryDay video: youtube.com/watch?v=dNVtMmLlnoE - Steve Mould video: youtube.com/watch?v=a6jJzOc9gaE - datasheets.raspberrypi.com/camera/picamera2-manual.pdf - pypi.org/project/picamera2/ - cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0176/3274/files/Raspberry_Pi_High_… - github.com/raspberrypi/picamera2 Shop: shop.plati.ma Website: plati.ma Other Channels youtube.com/@Platima youtube.com/@PlatimaGaming Gimme Cash paypal.me/PlatimaCash patreon.com/user?u=9252344 TubeBuddy Link: tubebuddy.com/platimacooks (Affiliate Link) Postpone Link: postpone.app/?via=platima (Affiliate Link) The Cannery Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ #Platima #RaspberryPi #GlobalShutter
