An introduction to Compose Multiplatform 1.0, a declarative UI framework for sharing Kotlin code across desktop, web, and Android.

JetBrains Compose Multiplatform, a declarative UI framework for Kotlin, has reached version 1.0, which means it is ready for production use! Read this blog post for all the details: blog.jetbrains.com/kotlin/2021/12/compose-multiplatform-1-0-… Because Compose Multiplatform is a declarative UI framework, changes you make to your code are reflected in your user interface, so you don’t need to worry about updating your UI logic. On Desktop, you can use it to create Kotlin apps with beautiful user interfaces quickly and efficiently, enjoying the benefits of hardware acceleration. For web applications, you can now build production-quality dynamic web experiences using Compose for Web's DOM API, which supports all browser APIs. Share code between various platforms (including Android, using compatibility with Jetpack Compose by Google), and start building the UIs of tomorrow, today! #ComposeMultiplatform #JetBrains #Release

It seems everything out there offering web+mobile+desktop has one of the 3 *almost* *ready* forever. (Is there one yet that really does? Flutter, Blazor, Phoenix Live View, Basecamp Turbo, Tauri, Quasar all seem to be missing or have one piece so poorly working as to not quite be there last time I explored them.) Not saying this vid was a lie, but…
