Dave Jones reviews and tests the ultra-low-cost CH32V003 RISC-V microcontroller, demonstrating how to get a basic blinky program running.

Checking out the new 10 cent WCH CH32V003 48MHz RISC V processor demo board and the MounRiver Eclipse IDE. Getting to blinky. The CH32V003 is a pin-for-pin alternative to the STM8S003 at 1/3rd the price, with more features. EEVblog 1524 - The 10 CENT RISC V Processor! CH32V003 Dave does a great ultra-beginner test drive of this new super low cost RISC V microcontroller including a walkthrough to get the LED blinking using their custom Eclipse based IDE. I don't know much about RISC V but I'm definitely not intimidated by it anymore after watching this. Check it out. [video

On “Looking for an Experienced Electronics Partner to Collaborate on a Hardware Product (Maybe Crowd Fund It Together?)”

The problem with a more niche device like what this looks like is there's usually not a lot of great tutorials on them outside official documents. And I don't personally have experience with that board xp A quick google did bring me here link to this video and that will probably help you get set up with it at least. Also EEVblog is another just great electronics YouTube channel in general

On “best embedded systems tutorial for beginners?”

…rev-b. Maybe others can help find more boards. If, on the other hand, you choose ARM instead, https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-f103rb.html A considerably cheaper option at $10.11, with free development tools (this board includes an on-board JTAG adapter and USB-Serial support). Here ya go, a cheap RISCV development environment: [video…
