An explanation of how computers, ALUs, and registers can be built and operated inside Minecraft using redstone.

I know that many people who have seen youtube videos of computers made in Minecraft probably have no clue how these computers work. When I saw a computer in Minecraft for the first time, I was very curious as to how it worked however all information that I could find was simply too complicated. Hopefully, after watching this video, you guys have a better understanding of how these computers work. What people say. Recommended as a helpful starting point for learning computer architecture and logic gates through trial and error.

On “In the spirit of another recent post: Less simple 4-stage pipelined 32-bit ARM CPU I designed for a school project many moons ago. It supports forwarding and hazard protection. Here it is computing prime numbers from a hand-compiled C-routine @ 32 Hz :-)”

Computer architecture (Minecraft). This vid has no breakdown of the logic but that's something I would advise you to learn yourself through trial and error. Honestly I learned the logic part myself through Minecraft. I am not saying it's the fastest approach but it worked for me. I started from 4-bit adder, then 4-bit multiplicator and then I went to try to build a whole computer but only finished ALU and registers (partially because I got stuck on inventing instant XOR). In general Minecraft computer tutorials are pretty good source if you want to try it in Minecraft.
