Carl Llewellyn explains how he created an online game for the PlayStation 1 using serial communications, a Raspberry Pi, and Go.
I made an online game for the PlayStation 1 by soldering up to the serial communications port on the motherboard. Then used a Raspberry Pi to connect to a PS4. Recommended as an impressive hardware hacking project connecting a PS1 to a PS4 for online play.
