Stuart Halloway shares software development and debugging lessons inspired by the original Sherlock Holmes stories.

Sherlock Holmes has much to teach us about how to approach programming and life. Recent movies and TV shows have been charming, but this talk is about the lessons you can learn from the original stories.

On “[Q] Which is better? inf-clojure or cider?”

They are both created and maintained by the same guy, Bozhidar Batsov, aka Bug. You should consider sponsoring his work: https://github.com/bbatsov I've heard inf-clojure was created as a joke, but that could be a joke. Bug is a fun guy. You probably want to go with CIDER. Though I heard in some podcast that Stuart Halloway uses inf-clojure. I mention this because I have this addiction to think ”What would Stuart Halloway do?”. In this talk there is a short section where he makes the case for using simple tools: link to this video
