Tom Murphy VII explains how he used graph theory and Eulerian paths to construct a single portmanteau containing every English word.
For SIGBOVIK 2015 I did this little hack to produce a portmanteau (that's a jammin' together of two words, like caviar + armpit = caviarmpit) of all 100,000+ words in English. This video is a little illustrated tutorial of what that means and how I did it. I hope it's fun! Software and the word: tom7.org/portmantoutWhat people say. Recommended as an entertaining and educational demonstration of graph theory applied to a novel linguistic problem.
