A demonstration of how to use interaction-log-mode to display Emacs keyboard shortcuts in color during presentations.

When you give presentations in which you use Emacs, other Emacs users would like to see the shortcuts you're using so that they can learn from you and your setup. The most famous mode for this is command-log-mode, however a more colourful, and in my opinion better, alternative exists in interaction-log-mode. This wee screeencast shows how it works and how you can keep the interaction-log-mode buffer open no matter what operations you or your plugins do in Emacs, including C-x 1. interaction-log-mode can be downloaded from: github.com/michael-heerdegen/interaction-log.el My Emacs configuration can be found here: gitlab.com/skybert/my-little-friends/-/tree/master/emacs Often, people wonder about other things shown in the talk as well, like what theme and terminal is being used, thus: - The terminal multiplexer used is tmux, my conf is here: gitlab.com/skybert/my-little-friends/-/tree/master/tmux - The terminal used is kitty, my conf is here: gitlab.com/skybert/my-little-friends/-/tree/master/kitty - The desktop environment used i3, my conf is here: gitlab.com/skybert/my-little-friends/-/tree/master/i3 Enjoy!
