Steve Mould demonstrates Spintronics, a set of mechanical components that provide an intuitive feel for how electrical circuits work.

When you connect them together with chains, they give a really good intuition for how circuits works. What people say. Recommended as a great mechanical analogy for understanding electrical circuits and components.

On “Ask HN: Alternatives to Scratch for a blind child?”

I saw the code jumper tech at a conference once, it was actually really thoughtfully done, I had no idea it cost 1k though! One other option I've seen is this Spintronics platform: link I first saw it on Steve Mould's youtube channel, they're basically mechanical circuits and it looks super cool. link to this video

On “Making a Traversable Wormhole with a Quantum Computer”

>By studying this quantum theory on the processor, we are able to... probe the dynamics of a quantum system equivalent to a wormhole in a model of gravity. Not a real wormhole, but rather a model of a wormhole which they say has the same dynamics. A bit like this if I'm not mistaken: link to this video
