Noam Aizenberg shares the step-by-step journey of designing, prototyping, and manufacturing a hardware product to treat TMJ disorder.

This is the FULL story of how I built a hardware product from scratch for my TMJ Disorder 📦 Fresh out of college to idea to Small Business - Step by Step This is the real behind-the-scenes story of how I brought my first product—myTMJ Pen—to market. No investors. No co-founders. No experience. Just chronic jaw pain, 190 prototypes, $40,000 spent, and many many hours of engineering and learning. 👉 In this video, I share: How I went from jaw pain to quitting my 9-5 How I designed my first PCB (as a mechanical engineer) How I scaled production + marketing to $50K/month The startup mistakes I made along the way What it’s really like to bootstrap your first product My take on patents, manufacturing, FDA regulations, and building an audience from scratch Whether you're into product design, hardware startups, or just want a brutally honest look at what it takes to launch something from your bedroom—this is the video I wish I had when I started. 🔧 Product: myTMJ Pen - A heated massager for jaw pain (TMJ Disorder) 🕸️ Link: mytmjrelief.com 📍 Built completely in-house: 3D printed casings, hand-assembled, and shipped from my tiny apartment-factory 💸 Launched with no funding, no experience, just social media, preorders, and a lot of hustle 👇 Resources Mentioned JLCPCB $2 for 1-8 layer PCB: jlcpcb.com/?from=noam PCB Design Tutorials using EasyEDA: youtube.com/watch?v=utBQqcuOt9U youtube.com/watch?v=35YuILUlfGs Circuit Design Tutorials: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWv9VM947MKgGV1yrfwsdW51kliYrVMBo youtube.com/watch?v=uXr4lXYjXuU&t=1543s Favorite Podcasts: My First Million, How I Built This, Acquired, Founders Got questions about building your own product? What people say. Recommended as an end-to-end case study of taking a hardware product from initial prototype to retail sales.

On “What do I need to teach beginners to quickly make real products? What to do after the Arduino starter kit?”

This is my nerd I go to for that stuff: [video But what I personally wish is that I could see that end to end process for individual things. Like the individual boards done here but end to end for full products from problem to retail sales [video Maybe 20-40 minutes per video, but I think it needs to be shown together. This guy did it right: [video

This guy sold a lot with a product programmed with arduino-ide 🤷‍♂️ And yes, people told ya never to do so. Arduino is kinda prototype trash 🤷‍♂️😅 Perhaps actual product reality is totally different.
