Chris Badahdah presents Portal, a data inspection and visualization tool designed to help Clojure developers explore their data models.

The London Clojurians are happy to present: Title: **Thinking with Portal** Speaker: **Chris Badahdah** Chris Badahdah (djblue.github.io/) will be presenting a data inspection/visualization tool he's been working on over the past year, Portal (github.com/djblue/portal). He hopes it will provide users the ability to better understand and debug systems by making it easier to explore their data models. Chris started learning Clojure in 2016 after he realized lisp was the ultimate programming language. In early 2020, he started working in Clojure professionally and hasn't looked back. He's been working with data driven systems, during which Portal has been of great use! What people say. Recommended as an excellent introduction to using Portal alongside a Clojure REPL for interactive data visualization.

On “Besides Calva for VS Code, what are other alternatives for interactive evaluation ?”

I can highly recommended Portal, which is an interactive data visualiser for Clojure. It doesn't give you interactive evaluation itself, but it's a great tool to have alongside your REPL usage. The creator has an excellent 30-min video explaining it here.
