An introduction to Widgetronics, a lightweight C library for rendering widgets, layouts, and physics on bare-metal microcontrollers.
In this video I introduce the Alpha-1 version of Widgetronics a cross platform toolkit for creating widget based graphics for Embedded Microcontroller devices, Desktops, Mobile Devices and Web Browsers.
Widgetronics can run on any operating system and runs bare metal. It features:
Written in C no C++ Required
Primitives
Widgets
Flexbox Layout Engine
Embedded Fixed Time Step Newtonian Physics Engine
Supports Rigid Body and Softbody Physics
Particle system
Media Playback Capabilities for Audio, Images and Video
Ability to draw 3D Planes
Low Memory Footprint
and many more!

Porting to MCU Progression and Conclusion
Ideal for embedded systems developers, engineers, makers and students who want to get started with graphics programming quickly on MCU devices. With its trademark UnityAPI, FlexCircuit and SimuKinetics physics engine you can achieve a custom look and feel across all your platforms.
Its ideal for beginners as there is no clutter and no mess! Simple and easy to use for rapid prototyping.

…ren a while back as well sl it was a lot faster to port to this chip...like when Bunnie's baochip comes out in a few mnths almost weekly I'll do a project because it'll just be porting and optimizing for that aechitecture, if you like you can see from pixel to physics engine here, maybe if people are interested I can show the next steps up to OS:

Why not write your own library from scratch? Start with a pixel and move up trust me after that every single project you do with gui will ne much easier, I hightlight the process in this video from a single pixel to a physics engine, its a good learning path to take:
