Niklas Hambüchen teaches how to write correct multi-threaded code in Haskell using the async library.

Zurich Haskell meetup: meetup.com/HaskellerZ/events/270136648 Code repository: github.com/nh2/haskellerz-async-tutorial-2020 Niklas will give a tutorial on asynchronous and parallel programming using the `async` library. It targets beginner to intermediate Haskellers, as well as anybody who has not used or does not understand `async` yet. If you understand how to do IO in Haskell, you are ready. After this tutorial you will be able to write correct multi-threaded code easily, and spot common mistakes. You can code along this tutorial if you like. It is recommended to be able to compile Haskell programs; e.g. a working `stack` setup will do.
