An introductory tutorial on the Fs2 library in Scala, covering stream building, effects, and processing a large CSV file.

Fs2 is a Scala library for stream processing. This video is an introductory tutorial on fs2, which covers building streams, inifinte streams, effects, and files IO. We use fs2 to read a very big CSV file (more than 3 GB), parse it, and transform every row to a JSON object, by taking advantage of the file reading and writing abilities of the library. No previous knowledge of fs2 is needed.

Yup it looks like you http4s will be a better fit for you: https://http4s.org/v1/docs/quickstart.html There is also the following blogpost: https://blog.rockthejvm.com/http4s-tutorial/ Practical FP in Scala is great, I also liked the following book https://www.manning.com/books/get-programming-with-scala (it's a lot more beginner friendly, however http4s is not the main subject. And some resources on fs2:[video [video EDIT: Since you want to make a REST API, take a look at https://blog.indoorvivants.com/2022-06-10-smithy4s-fullstack-part-1
