On “Hey guys what is THE current modern and usual way to do normal Rest API calls?”

I don't think much has changed in terms of interacting with REST. You'll either use dio or http likely. Then you'd serialize using something like freezed (if you want) and then manage the state with something like bloc or riverpod. You can use hive or w/e to allow for persistent data (for offline first). You can also use fp\_dart in your pattern to handle problems. If you are looking for a specific implementation, here's the approach I like: [video Obvs it's opinionated but that's the only way to demo an and-to-end solution for networking/state. Take what you like!
