Let's build a todolist application using ASP.NET 5, MVC 6, Entity Framework 7, Identity and SQL Server. In part one we create our initial version of the application and scaffold our database tables using the Code First feature of Entity Framework and the Migrations system. We'll also learn how validation works using ViewModels and how to secure different parts of the application from unauthorised users.
