Sure, you clearly know and SEE what a great design looks like from the top designers on sites like Dribbble and Behance, but why can't you produce them? In this course, I'm going to help answer that question and provide you with a blueprint that's going to speed up your transition from producing ugly UI's as a beginner, to producing fantastic UI's. First, we're going to spend some time discussing the very important design fundamentals that you need to understand before you can start designing UI's. Then, we'll step into a design and prototyping app (Adobe XD, it's free! adobe.com/products/xd.html) and design a beautiful UI from scratch. While doing this, I'm going to describe exactly what's going through my mind as I piece together a UI. Let's get started! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Subscribe for NEW VIDEOS! On “Books/resources for graphic and frontend design principles?”

Hey I recommend starting with the principles of design on YouTube.I would personally recommend Satori Graphics for design principles and DesignCourse has a great tutorial about UI that also explains why he makes certain design choices. While you're looking into this I'd also look into SASS/SCSS because it'll help you speed up your styling workflow once you get the hang of it and it's relatively easy to learn if you already know CSS. As for books, I'd recommend "The Non-Designers Design Book". It has a simple way of presenting design principles, I especially like the chapters about typography.
