An exploration of the Cult of Done manifesto and how its thirteen principles can help creators and programmers finish projects.

The Cult of Done manifesto was written in 2009. I read it that same year, as the ideas swept through the maker community. medium.com/@bre/the-cult-of-done-manifesto-724ca1c2ff13 I think of many of the 13 principles every single day, as I write these videos, produce my audio fiction podcasts, and write music or code for any of my projects. This framework has changed my life for the better, and now I'd like to share it with you. On “Has anyone beaten the default HashMap (Abseil)? I've been trying to implement a cuckoo table for a while now, but I'm questioning my sanity at this point...”

You might be interested in this video it offers a different perspective which was very interesting to me. >Then I wondered if publishing failures ends up doing more harm than good. You don't have to publish on crates.io. Publishing something that you will stop maintaining immediately after publication is probably not a good fit for a public repository. I'd suggest you put it on your GitHub and archive it to indicate it's no longer updated.
