On “Project manager going into Scala”

I can recommend this talk as a warm-up exercise. link to this video Despite being an intro to Haskell he covers a lot of shared ground. For example: What makes a type in FP different from OO records/classes? Case classes in Scala are often compared to records from other languages (imperative, OO), but they have their own motivation when looked at from FP. How to read functional types, etc.

I found this be the best introduction to two of the main concepts surrounding Haskell and by extension Scala: Types and functions. link to this video
