Filip Hracek and Matt Sullivan explain how to structure application logic and manage state in declarative frameworks like Flutter.

Declarative UI frameworks eliminate whole classes of bugs. But they can also be a puzzle until you figure out how to structure your app logic around them. Walk through Flutter's app with live data and see how to structure content in a simple yet scalable way. You'll come out understanding the main approaches of state management in declarative frameworks and have a concrete applicable solution. What people say. Recommended as a key resource for understanding state management in Flutter, specifically comparing Provider and BLoC.

So is Provider recommended over BLoC? Just watched Pragmatic State Management in Flutter from I/O 2019 I was set on BLoC and started learning and reading the BLoC documentation from Felix Angelov's package. I literally spent two 8 hour days on it and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. That said, I was still determined to learning and building this big project using BLoC because we need clean code that is easily maintainable by a team of six and scales well. After days of research, BLoC seemed like the the way to go. After watching "Pragmatic State Management in Flutter" from I/O 2019 they were selling Provider (By Remi Rousselet) like it's sent from above and after watching the…

…need to re-write a huge part of my code. So, what's the point of being clean in the first place? I know maybe I'm messing it up, but reading the documentation of flutter\_bloc lib, I feel like it was not created for clean arch. I'm thinking in moving to provider + change\_notifier, as it looks to be what the flutter devs itself are using: [video Or maybe using riverpod, which i heard is a improved version of provider + change\_notifier. What do you guys think?…

Flutter + pizza? Yes! Calcolapizza is my first Flutter app to calculate amount for pizza doughs Hi guys, I started to play with Flutter some weeks ago with the AppBrewery's course and after some units I felt already confident enough to build my first app, I already had some programming background behind since I am a CS Student so it was relatively easy, I just had to learn how things work with Flutter. Since I love making pizza I decided to make an Android version of a tool that an italian forum offers to calculate the amount for pizza doughs, the web page it's responsive but everytime I had to screenshot the results and I never remembered what I originally set so how many pizzas, their…
