Filip Hracek demonstrates how to use the Dart migration tool to transition packages to null safety in iterations.

It's end of December and that means only one thing: it's time to migrate your pub.dev packages to null safety. Here's me doing it for a small package using the migration tool. My channel has other videos with basically the same content but longer. This is my attempt to distill those into a single video that just shows the migration tool flow. On “Migration to Null Safety - Manual or Tool?”

I recommend trying out the tool, I used the migration tool to migrate my flutter package a while ago. Migration tool should be use in iterations to make code nice. There is a video how to use the tool in iterations, it takes some time to learn and understand how to use it properly. link to this video

On “Is it worth migrating big Flutter App to Null Safety ?”

If it's worth it? Totally! Null safety is a game changer, a lot of behavior will become clearer and a lot of code will become shorter and safer and more readable. I migrated my app and a couple of packages I was using that weren't still migrated to null safety, it's not a difficult task. Watch the link to this video and use the migration tool, you'll finish in no time.
