On “How is Zig's interoperability with other languages?”

It's excellent. Besides having a c FFI, zig syntax is simple, so it's not hard to dynamically marshal the counterparty language's tools around your zig *if you want to*. Also, zig speaks .h files and your HLL will almost certainly provide an .h file describing the API contract, making it even easier to do it correctly without mistake. (disclaimer: self promotion link to this video Of the languages you describe I have the most experience with Julia and I can say that Julia's ffi support is fantastic, too, so interfacing Julia with zig will be a breeze. Though the last time I used Julia ffi was for Julia 1.1; I hear @ccall has only gotten better since then.
