On “Understanding how WPF works under the hood/bottom up ?”
WPF is a completely different framework based on XAML which is a high-quality markup language that is used to create the markup for UI. It's not like HTML first a fall.I hope you have a basic understanding of the C# language. If not I would suggest watching some tutorials on YT and practice before you jump into desktop development. Then you can use this site to get some basic understanding and familiarity with UI controls in WPF. https://wpf-tutorial.com/
React and WPF are completely different for completely different platforms with completely different architecture and with completely different languages.
