On “Sometimes 50ms isn't enough. An open source tool for switch bounce experiments. Mostly for curiosity.”

TLDR - You don't need this, but it is cool. A high performance AVR (Arduino Uno) program for switch bounce experiments. Detects pulses as short as 62.5ns. Rivals fancy oscilloscopes for this *one* purpose. If you prefer video to text, this 12 minute video demos the project, and analyzes both a nasty switch and a great one. I used to think that a healthy switch would bounce for 20ms or less. Surely it would never bounce more than 50ms. Then a switch I was using for a project bounced way more! The switch hadn't been used before, so I checked my wiring and brought out my scope. The switch barely bounced at all for the next 10 presses. Okay, chalk it up to gremlins. On a whim, I pressed it 5…
