Daniel Amber demonstrates how to build a command-line password manager using Babashka, SQLite, and HoneySQL.

Hey guys I have previously made a video on how to make a command-line application using Clojure. unfortunately, it was a bit slow because it had to wait for the JVM to boot up. There is a way around that though and that's by using a really awesome Clojure scripting runtime called Basbashka. In this video, we create a password manager to create, store and retrieve passwords. // Links to all libraries are in the repo GitHub repo: github.com/danownsthisspace/passman // Babashka book.babashka.org/ ----------------------------- intro Install Babashka Create project How the cli tool should work Listing stored urls and usernames Using Sqlite pod Using Honeysql Checking if a file exists Insert record into Sqlite db Select rows from Sqlite Format output using Table Creating a new password Accept generate as an option Adding positional arguments Secure storage using Stash Get password from user input Copy password to clipboard Retrieve passwords Ensure db exists Package using uberscript
