What people say. Recommended as a comprehensive, albeit opinionated, overview of Intel's historical business practices and antitrust struggles with AMD.

On “Samsung ends Intel's 2-decade-plus reign in microchips”

I watched this video yesterday, and it seems to explain a lot about how Intel has been less focused on building better technology in the last 10-15 years: link to this video I'm not sure how balanced the viewpoint in the video is, but the author comes up with a lot of references.

On “AMD's Stock Price Jumps on News of Earnings Spurred by Ryzen”

I'm not sure what you mean. From the time AMD released the K7 'Athlon' CPU, until the time Intel released Core2, AMD was king of performance. That's a long spawn of time. To understand why Intel kept selling CPUs like pancakes despite this, check this out: link to this video

On “Intel Announces Optane DIMMs”

I assume you mean Linus from YouTubes "Linus Tech Tips", and not Linus Torvalds. Surprised you wouldn't clarify that considering what website this is. Considering Intel's history, I wouldn't bet they direct their efforts based on a YouTube reviewer. Also, considering Intels very anti-competitive behavior (e.g 0, 1, 2), I am wary of stating Intel entering the DDR industry will make it any less corrupt. 0: link 1: link 2: link to this video

On “Watch out AMD: Intel Arc A580 could be the next great affordable GPU”

I'd still just buy the AMD gpu. Mature drivers, and better tested alongside AMD cpus. Also, I never liked Intel0. 0. link to this video
