Dr. Trefor Bazett introduces the fundamentals of discrete mathematics, outlining topics like logic, proofs, induction, and graph theory.

Welcome to Discrete Math. This is the start of a playlist which covers a typical one semester class on discrete math. I chat a little about why I love discrete math, what you should expect, and how an online discrete math course is structured. On “Online course for discrete math?”

I’m not in school but was literally looking for a refresher today I could just watch in passing - a few videos In this seems good link to this video

On “What do I need to know before studying Discrete Math ?”

Maybe books or that particular book isn't the right medium to start learning. How do you feel about video lectures? This one seems good based on the video titles, but maybe doesn't have enough focus on computer science. MIT OCW has an interesting looking course as well and these courses are usually high quality. Here's an alternate open source book. Besides finding the right book or video to study from, it might also be helpful to not do this alone. Working through a book with a friend could make things more enjoyable and easier. Or if you have a friend who is knowledgeable about this stuff already, asking them questions when you're stuck could also be helpful. Finally, I'd echo the oth…
