What people say. Recommended as a great comparison of how different programming languages name their standard library functional operations.

Looking for tech talk about common names of function in programming languages I remember watching a tech talk once where the presenter basically ran though all the common functions (map, flatmap, reduce, fold, etc) in a ton of languages (C++, java, C#, kotlin, haskell, scala, ....) and compared their names. Does anyone else remember this and have a link to the video? I am pretty sure it was supposed to be more about how the language the conference about had some odd names lol. u/foonathan found it. Thanks for the link. The diskussion about scan starts at 5:30. Interestingly he points out that the best name is chosen by D which is cumulativeFold. But then concludes that scan is the right name since it is the name that was chosen by APL 50 years ago.
