How Snowflake Actually Lowered their Snowflake Costs Note that databricks employees were claiming that the savings were due to Instacart moving off of Snowflake onto Databricks. Instacart has refuted those claims and have removed their post that was being misinterpreted by databricks. https://twitter.com/sarbjeetjohal/status/1696418400313213408

How Instacart actually lowered their Snowflake costs. Here is a good video for anyone interested in best practices to lower their Snowflake costs. Note that despite the claims from Databricks, no workloads were moved off of Snowflake onto Databricks. In fact, Instacart recently deleted their posting about using Databricks as it was being misrepresented by Databricks employees who were wrongly claiming that Instacart moved workloads. Here is a relevant tweet in that topic: https://twitter.com/sarbjeetjohal/status/1696418400313213408
