Seymour Papert demonstrates how the Logo programming language can be used to spark children's imagination and learning.
A wonderful clip made for television of Seymour Papert's early work on using computers to spark childrens' imaginations. Seymour Papert was the man behind the LOGO programming language. This video was originally downloaded by me in 2008 from the MIT CSAIL AI History website (projects.csail.mit.edu/films/aifilms/paper.php). That site no longer seems to function, so I've uploaded the film here to preserve it. Original rights probably belong to CSAIL, but I'm not certain. What people say. Highly recommended as an inspiring historical look at Seymour Papert's vision for computers in education.
