On “Savings cost for self managed K8s?”

On the major cloud providers self managing won’t save you much. However if you go fully on prem or use a provider with superior price/performance like Hetzner self managing can reduce costs tremendously. At Mynewsdesk we have had a good time self managing Kubernetes on Hetzner dedicated servers via Talos Linux. Presentation about motivations and results here for anyone interested: link to this video
