What people say. Recommended as an excellent video-based course to accompany reading the Physically Based Rendering book.

On “reading pbrt (2023) hit the wall on chapter 2 Monte Carlo, any advices?”

Two Minute Papers Tu Wien Tu Wien More Recent Course I would dive into both of these. They both cover the same book (they are using pbrt) so if you watch this and read pbrt it will make a lot more sense. Two Minute Papers guy, professor Karoly Zslonai is a highly engaging and excellent communicator obviously indicated by how well he pivoted to explaining papers on youtube. You'll love that course, it explains the concepts of light at a high level, then dive deeper into implementation. The other more modern course spends more time going through the math. Especially Monte Carlo. Again, both are using the same text book so they serve as excellent complimentary resources.
