Doug Milford introduces WebAssembly and WebGL boilerplate setup for rendering 3D graphics in the browser using Rust.

This is the first of three videos introducing you to doing 3D graphics in the browser with Rust. This video focuses on the the boilerplate setup needed as well as a mini WASM introduction. Below are some links to resources I mention in the video. github.com/dmilford/rust-3d-demo webglfundamentals.org/ developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/WebGL_API This Rust programming language tutorial series is aimed at easing your training step by step. Rust is a systems level language aimed at speed and safety and can be run cross-platform, including embedded systems and even the browser with WebAssembly (WASM)! I use the VS Code development environment to help you learn the core topics. Please join me on this journey with this fantastic new programming language. Topics include coding basics, hello world, primitives, cargo, toml, rustup, arrays, borrowing, shadowing, string vs str, tuples, enumerations (enums), println and so much more...all free on youtube!

What people say. Recommended as a great step-by-step tutorial series for getting started with 3D graphics and WebAssembly in Rust.

On “What's everyone working on this week (23/2020)?”

I followed this tutorial for doing 3D graphics in the browser using rust, Wasm, and webgl. I really enjoyed both the instructor, but also the dive into trying both Wasm and WebGL for the first time! I'm gonna clean the ending code up a bit and make my own abstraction layer on top, so I can turn it into a 3D viewer for Architecture models :)

Here's a tutorial series that might be exactly what you're looking for for 3d in WASM There's a GitHub for the template as well link to this video

Not that I know. In the tutorial it’s not even mentioned. Here’s the link to the tutorial if you mind checking: link to this video
