A 1024-byte DOS intro featuring high-resolution real-time ray tracing and PC speaker music written in pure assembly.

What people say. Highly recommended as an impressive feat of size coding and real-time ray tracing in just 1024 bytes.

On “HiRes Real-time Ray-tracing in 1024 Bytes with Soundtrack - no GPU- no soundcard - just x86 ASM”

This is not the (sizecoding typical) indexed color, low resolution raymarcher, it's actual true color ray tracing in high resolution and comes with a nice soundtrack, that does not make use of the usual MIDI fonts, but instead does everything "by hand" procedurally. Real breakthrough achievement and very nice, detailed writeup. Respect! Youtube video here. Full commented code available here.
